Despite Obama front groups like Think Progress desperately attempting to deny the legitimacy of the issue, Twitter continues to be flooded with threats by Obama supporters to riot if Mitt Romney wins the election.
As we reported earlier, not only are Obama supporters threatening to cause mayhem in American cities if Obama loses, they are also making direct death threats against Mitt Romney.
A talking point floated by Obama campaign fronts like Think Progress has attempted to characterize the story as a non-issue driven by racism, and yet such denials have failed to stem the deluge of threats to cause chaos which continue to pour forth from Obama supporters.
The following tweets are from real people with real Twitter accounts. While the news media obsessed over a few old guys hanging empty chairs from their lawn trees in reference to Clint Eastwood’s RNC speech, the fact that the world’s pre-eminent social network has been inundated with death threats against Romney and promises to riot if Obama loses has been completely ignored by the major networks.
When will the mainstream media address this very serious and concerning issue?
Given that Americans routinely riot on a smaller scale over the results of football matches or if they can’t get into a theater, why isn’t this being treated with any genuine concern?
Why are leftists who routinely bitch and yell about so-called “hate speech” by conservatives which amounts to one tenth of the vitriol displayed in some of the comments being made by Obama supporters, pretending that these tweets either don’t exist or that they do not matter?
Why are those who draw attention to the tweets being maligned as racists when the first person to warn of riots if Obama loses was respected black philosopher Thomas Sowell?
Why are police departments across the United States dismissing the notion that riots and civil unrest are likely to happen given the depth of discontent being spewed by Obama supporters?
All mouth and no brain, I guarantee not a single one of them will do a thing if Mittens wins. Internet warriors should be ignored. It's easy to say "oh I'd do this and i'll do that." They won't do anything but take to Twitter of Fecesbook to spout their vitriol and discontent.
